An analysis made by IMM has appeared in print. The Institute had examined what the Polish media and public figures say and write about the African continent and its inhabitants. The analysis was prepared for the Foundation "Afryka Inaczej”. The results show that Africa is viewed primarily through stereotypes, its natural disasters and regional conflicts. The report was published under the title "Afryka i jej mieszkańcy w polskich mediach".

Institute of Media Monitoring’s MediaContact database is available at a lower charge from today on. The price reduction is yet another step IMM has taken in response to clients’ suggestions and needs.

One of the greatest tenors of all times performed on Motoarena in Torun on 31st July 2010. Concert of the master that added splendor to celebrations of 777 anniversary of founding the city was one and only in Poland. The event maked part of the cultural program of events that are to win the city a title of the European Capital of Culture 2016.

The concert's setting was exceptional. One of the highlights was Polish singer Justyna Steczkowska co-performing with José Carreras.

„Palmyra – Imaginations Oasis” is a slogan for all-year celebration of the 50th anniversary of initiating the archaeological research in the ancient town. A special element of the Polish celebration is exhibition “Imagination Oasis – 50 years of Polish archaeologists in Palmyra”. It will be held in the Warsaw Royal Baths Park. The exhibition will include photos, unique ceramics, sculpture replicas, original notes of prof. Michałowski as well as virtual reconstruction of the Allat temple, which was discovered by Polish researchers.

Institute of Media Monitoring has reconstructed its website. A new layout of IMM website is clearer and intuitive which enables to track down fast all of the sought information.

Major change consists in introducing marked division into product menu to be found in central section of the website and corporate menu at the top of the site.

Institute of Media Monitoring is the only media monitoring firm that have twice been ranked on the Diamonds list by "Forbes". That took place in 2009 and 2010. This is a list of companies whose sales revenues were between PLN 5 to 50 million in the preceding years.   
The "Forbes" Diamonds list is based on the Swiss method of appraising institutions, wherein both financial results and the companies' assets values are included. The method enables measuring of companies' potential without neglecting the scale of their investments or the ability to boost sales and profits.
